Managing how data objects synchronize with EPS |
EPS Synchronization Options
To access this dialog:
-
Activate the EPS ribbon and select Synchronize | Options
Use this dialog to control, on a per-object basis, which parameters within the selected data object are synchronized with EPS when 'linked to EPS" using the right-click context menu in the Sheets control bar. You can map any Datamine column name in the selected data object to any custom field as defined in the Crosstab control bar of the EPS system.
You can add a new data 'map' using the "+" symbol at the bottom of the table, or delete existing entries using the corresponding X.
Field Details:
The main part of the dialog is a table detailing the local name(s) of data attributes as held within the data object, and the EPS custom field to which it is attributed in the connected/linked EPS system. As each EPS field can potentially contain both a start and an end date (to define the duration of the date range over which the corresponding tonnages/grades are relevant), you can optionally select to include one or both of these attributes in the loaded Studio OP data object, and visualize this information in both a static and animated format.
Include Start/End Field: select one or both check boxes to include/exclude the start/finish datetime field in the synchronization of data between your application and EPS.
EPS Field: for
the linked data object, select the custom field within EPS
(must exist within the connected EPS project) that you wish to synchronize
with a local Datamine data attribute. fields will be listed (including
production, core and text fields) in alphabetical order. The icons
alongside each item represent the same icons found in the EPS Fields
list (Project Settings), e.g.:
Local Column: select the local object data column that you wish to 'map' to the EPS custom field in the connected/linked EPS project.
